Locality Groups

  • Past Meetings: Held between Jan–Feb, included input from LD Nurses and Psychologists.
  • Current Round (May–June):
    • DWP representative explaining benefits
    • Community engagement officers discussing safety
  • New Applications: 4 individuals applied to join the board as self-advocates
  • Upcoming Events:
    • Co-Production Event – 9 July 2025
    • Family Voice Conference (already held)
  • Group Dates: Shared on the Norfolk LD Partnership website

LD Plan 2023–2028 Progress

  • 5 Key Priorities: Endorsed by Integrated Care and Health & Wellbeing Boards
  • Achievements:
    • Promoting healthy eating (yes, baked beans count!)
    • Understanding health checks and the LeDeR report
    • Relationship education
    • Removal of AM bus pass restrictions
    • Promoting libraries as safe social spaces
  • Outstanding Items:
    • Updates needed on dental access, inpatient quality transformation, housing progress
    • A revised delivery plan is in development

Carers Strategy – Marie Smith

Other Updates

  • Service Change: From 1 June 2025, Adult Community Learning Health Service will be managed by Herefordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust
  • Website Fixes: Governance links to be repaired by Lee
  • Support Provided:
    • Pre- and post-meeting support sessions
    • One-to-one discussions for self-advocates
    • Continued commitment to accessible feedback options
