The Norfolk Learning Disability Partnership (NLDP) is committed to improving the life opportunities of all people with learning disabilities and their family/carers living in Norfolk by making it an understanding and inclusive county.
The Partnership comprises of people from a wide range of backgrounds, including people with Learning Disabilities, parents/carers, professionals working in healthcare, social care, education, voluntary organisations, the Police and Healthwatch. Everyone involved with the NLDP is committed to co-production to ensure that the contributions of all participants are equally valued.
The purpose of the Board is to deliver the Norfolk Learning Disability Plan 2023-2028 following national guidance. It will do so through co-producing, implementing and regularly reviewing an action plan.
The Board is in place to influence all partners in Norfolk to develop improved services for adults wiht a Learning Disability as well as parents/carers. It will raise awareness of Learning Disabilities within the wider community and work to enable people with Learning Disabilities to be fully included in society.

Reasonable Adjustments
The Norfolk Learning Disability Partnership Board has collaborated with volunteers to identify and implement reasonable adjustments. We want to remove any barriers that prevent people with a Learning Disability and those with an interest in Learning Disabilities from engaging with the partnership. We welcome conversations about reasonable adjustments to help make this happen.
